That shows that they are a popular landmark destination that many people want to visit. Many people come to see all that Puerto Rico has to offer. Puerto Rico’s agriculture includes plantations, milk, pineapples, and much more! Puerto Rico imports many items from many European countries, including sugarcane, coffee, plantains, bananas, livestock products, and chickens. They import these items because these they can't grow them themselves, so they rely on other countries to provide them those foods. The major exports that they provide to the United States are electronics, computers, and chemicals. The Island’s per capita GPD rate is around $28,500.00 (USD). The Dominican Republic’s GDP per capita is $10,719.00 (USD) and Haiti has a GDP per capita rate of $1,693.07 (USD). Both of these GDP rates show that Puerto Rico has a higher GDP rate than its neighboring countries. Overall, Puerto Rico has a higher GDP per capita rate than many neighboring countries, but they can't grow some of their crops so they rely on countries for this produce.
